Transplant Surgery
Flanders is an area of Belgium not well-known as a tourist destination. Although it shares a border with France, French travellers prefer London, Barcelona, or Vienna when it comes to short breaks. So, in 2008, the agency invented the imaginary 'Scheelboute Clinic' - a facility that doesn't just transplant organs or body parts, it adds them. The thinking was that Antwerp has so much to offer that you might need, for example, an extra arm to do all the necessary shopping. Campaign results were very healthy indeed. The website saw a 300% increase in visits, and the story was featured on French radio, blogposts, and TV. |
