Lux, India's 78-year-old soap of the stars, was losing some of its popularity to cheaper imitators. A massive relaunch was planned - around a manufactured 'scandal'!
A dashing cricketer and a TV actor were both apparently besotted with the same Bollywood star. The Lux promise of 'tempting skin' was a perfect fit with the concept - which certainly got the nation talking.
