| OMO believes that playing outside - dirt is good! - is crucial for the development of any child. Together with the Dutch Olympic Committee,
the OMO Outside Play Foundation (OOPF) commissioned bespoke paediatric research. It proved children spent 20% less time
outdoors between 2005 and 2007. This research was then published as the focus of an integrated campaign, encouraging kids to form
their own outside play clubs. An amazing 270 000 youngsters registered - and the OOPF is now the fifth largest sport association in the
Netherlands. |
