With its first body change in seven years, Mitsubishi's latest Lancer needed to connect with a new, younger audience. For MEC, this meant
turning a value-for-money small-car into a statement of personal style. So, the Lancer Supershort Series was created - a sequence of six short
films written around the benefits of the car. With supporting PR, the films were then shown on TV, at the movies, and on a microsite.
(Online viewers were invited to create a script of their own, with a Lancer as a possible prize.) The campaign saw a 37% increase in sales -
and that's a wrap. |
