Turkcell-im (translated as my-Turkcell) is a Value Added Services portal, where users can find mobile content like games, wallpaper, and
videos. To encourage people to visit the portal, Mindshare began a consumer dialogue. Interactive meeting points - Puff Pods - were
created at Istanbul's busiest places. These prompted people to request a song from a jukebox, by visiting Turkcell-im. Users could also
photograph themselves with the campaign's mascot, 'The Bored Man', and send the MMS to a photo-sharing website. Some 6 million
people participated in just a few months. |
