The challenge for Mediacom was to help grow market share for the fragrance Puma Create - despite an increase in price. What's more,
the target market - the elusive Generation Y - was difficult to reach via traditional media. So, Mediacom joined forces with MTV,
reaching key inf luencers by tapping into their desire to be heard by their peers. Presenters directed viewers to a website, where they could
create their own fragrance packaging. The winning designs had to be democratically elected online, with the best of the best actually
appearing in-store. |
